Description

Green NRG Solar has supplied thousands of Californians and Americans in the South and Northeast with well-crafted, custom-designed solar energy systems.

Green NRG Solar, Inc. is a California-based, privately-owned solar contractor that installs residential and commercial solar panel arrays. Their home office is located in Chatsworth, California, in the greater Los Angeles area. They've been servicing customers in Southern California since their founding in 2008, but have now expanded their service area into the Bay Area.

The company was founded by Yaar Kimhi, a veteran of the solar energy industry who previously owned an enterprise called Green Hill Solar. Kimhi remains the president of Green NRG, which despite its California focus is also doing business in Florida, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Texas and South Carolina.

Green NRG has installed more than 2,000 residential rooftop solar energy systems in its 11 years of existence. Their concentration is on solar sales rather than leasing, and their consultants work closely with clients to arrange financing packages that make solar panels affordable.

Some of the lenders they work with include CaliforniaFIRST, a public/

private partnership that funds renewable energy projects; Green Sky, a consumer financing company; and the Medallion Bank, a Utah-based financial institution that funds home improvement projects. They also promote and support Renovation America's HERO Loan Program, which helps consumers pay for energy-efficiency upgrades in California.

The company is an official dealer for two of the largest manufacturers of American-made solar panels, SolarWorld and SunPower. They are also affiliated with several other prominent solar panel manufacturers, including Bosch, AleoSolar, Sharp, and Canadian Solar.

Green NRG takes a hands-on approach to their solar energy projects. They assign a team of solar experts to each new job, assisting clients every step of the way, starting with onsite inspections and evaluations and continuing through permitting and the actual installation job itself. Their consultations are always free, and they will inform clients about all available rebates and tax credits available in their state or area.
