LA Solar Group, Inc. is a privately-owned solar energy design and installation firm located in Van Nuys, California. LA Solar Group serves residential and commercial customers throughout the greater Los Angeles area, and is one of the fastest growing renewable energy companies in the region.
The founder and CEO of LA Solar Group is Ara Petroysan. Before launching LA Solar, Petroysan spent more than a decade working in the solar energy industry as a technician, installer, engineer, and Vice President of solar projects.
LA Solar Group opened for business in 2012.In less than seven years of existence, the company has installed approximately 8,000 residential and almost 100 commercial solar energy systems. More than half of the company's sales are completed online through their website, while nearly 30 percent are the result of direct marketing and another 15 percent come from referrals.

LA Solar Group installs complete solar photovoltaic energy systems, which are available for purchase or via solar leasing agreements. They act as an information source and facilitator for people seeking PACE loan funding as well.
In addition to its solar panels, LA Solar Group also sells and installs building-integrated solar products (solar shingles), electrical main panels, EV charging outlets, and Smart Home energy management systems. While Southern California remains home base, the company has now opened 14 offices in seven other states.
